Privacy Policy

What personal data this website collects, why, who handles it and the rights you have.

01Who we are

This website, sharphawk.com, is run by Sharphawk Ltd. (“Sharphawk”, “we”), registered at 15, Triq il-Keffa, Swieqi, Malta, which is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@sharphawk.com.

Our Dubai office is operated by NGB Management LLC, IFZA Business Park, Building A2, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE. Where you contact our Dubai office, that company may also process your enquiry under the applicable UAE data protection law.

02What we collect

  • When you send a form or leave your details in the website chat: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give us: your phone number, company, the services you are interested in, a preferred day and time for a call, and your message. We also record which page you sent it from and when.
  • When you choose to chat on WhatsApp: the chat opens WhatsApp, where the conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy. We see your WhatsApp name, number and messages, and use them only to reply.
  • How you found us: if you allow analytics cookies, the first page you visited, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link, which are sent with your enquiry.
  • Technical data: your IP address and browser details, processed briefly by our hosting provider to deliver the site, to protect it from abuse (including limiting how often a form can be sent) and by Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form or chat enquiry is sent by a person. We do not keep this data ourselves.

We do not ask for special categories of data. Please don’t include them in a message.

03Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • Replying to your enquiry and arranging a call: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Keeping the site and its forms secure: our legitimate interest in protecting the site and our inbox from abuse and spam (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics and marketing cookies: only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings. See the cookie policy.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

04Who receives it

We share personal data only with the providers who help us run the website and answer your enquiry, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: Hosting, content delivery, security (including rate limiting) and Turnstile bot protection on the contact forms and the website chat. Location: United States, with a global network. Safeguard: EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification and Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum. Privacy policy, data processing terms
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.): Delivers each enquiry from the website to our inbox by email. Location: United States. Safeguard: EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification and Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Addendum (checked 27 October 2026). Privacy policy, data processing terms
  • Our email provider: Hosts the mailbox where enquiries are received and answered. Location: {{EMAIL_PROVIDER_LOCATION}}.

05International transfers

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards each provider offers: certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, as listed above.

06Cookies

We use only the cookies and similar storage needed to run the site unless you agree to more. Every item is listed in our cookie policy.

07Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@sharphawk.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the supervisory authority, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), Malta, or to the authority where you live or work.

08Changes to this policy

This is version 2 of this policy, last updated on 27 October 2026. When we change it, we update the version and date here, and the cookie banner asks for your choice again.
